Buddhist Pre Nuptial Photo Shoot
Did a favor for Mabuhay temple in Vito Cruz,Manila to shoot Ate Issa and Kuya Allen before their Buddhist wedding this December 2011. It was an honor for us to take photographs of them because the people in the temple are very kind, that photographs aren’t that enough to thank them for helping me in my thesis. I’m looking forward for more volunteer works with them in the future.
Buddhist wedding is very simple, peaceful and minimalist. They don’t adorn everything with money. No dowries, no money. Vanity is not required. They do not base things in appearance but on mind, morality and justices. I love Buddha’s teachings because it promotes peace in the world and you can really feel inner peace when you are surrounded with people like them. A lot of volunteers here are Catholic, they don’t force anyone to change religions as long as both parties understands each other.
